Quick guide from the manual

The Skydance LN-12-12 is a 1-channel constant voltage LED driver designed for indoor LED lighting applications. It supports multiple dimming interfaces including 0-10V, 1-10V, 10V PWM, and AC Push-Dim. The device features automatic recovery for over-heat, over-load, and short-circuit protection.

Wiring and Installation

The driver features a terminal block for AC input (L, N), LED output (+, -), and signal input (0/1-10V, GND, Push DIM). Ensure all connections are secure before powering on.

0/1-10V Connection

  • Compatible with rotary wall switches or central dimming controllers.
  • Supports 0-10V, 1-10V, 10V PWM, and RX (4-in-1) signals.
  • Recommended maximum of 5 drivers per dimmer.
  • Maximum wire length from dimmer to driver: 15 meters.

AC Push-Dim Connection

  • Uses standard non-latching (momentary) wall switches.
  • Short press: Turn light on or off.
  • Long press (1-6s): Stepless dimming; light level direction reverses with every other long press.
  • Dimming memory: Returns to the previous level after power-off or power failure.
  • Synchronization: If using multiple drivers with one switch, perform a long press (>10s) to synchronize all lights to 100% brightness.
  • Recommended maximum of 25 drivers per push switch.
  • Maximum wire length from switch to driver: 20 meters.

Technical Parameters

  • Output Voltage: 12VDC
  • Max Output Current: 1A
  • Max Output Power: 12W
  • Input Voltage: 100-240VAC
  • Working Temperature: -30°C to 50°C
  • IP Rating: IP20

Practical help

Common problems

Lights not responding to 0/1-10V control after using Push-Dim

The 0/1-10V signal must change by more than 10% to regain control if the driver was previously used with the Push-Dim interface.

Lights in a group are not synchronized

Perform a long press (>10s) on the push switch to synchronize all connected drivers to 100% brightness.

Before use

  • Verify the LED strip voltage matches the 12VDC output.
  • Ensure the total load does not exceed 12W.
  • Check that the input voltage is within the 100-240VAC range.
  • Confirm the dimming method (0/1-10V or Push-Dim) and wire accordingly.
  • Ensure wire lengths do not exceed 15m (0/1-10V) or 20m (Push-Dim).

Model compatibility

  • Compatible with 0-10V, 1-10V, 10V PWM, and Resistor/RX dimming equipment.
  • Requires non-latching (momentary) switches for Push-Dim functionality.
