Installation Environment and Setup
Before finalizing the installation, ensure the following conditions are met:
- Location: The LCD screen must be protected from direct sunlight.
- Clearance: Maintain at least 6 inches of clearance on the left and right sides for cooling (12 inches between parallel systems).
- Connections: Ensure all battery lugs are properly tightened.
System Testing Procedures
After the system is operational, perform the following tests:
- Load and Solar Test: Verify battery temperature sensor functionality. Test critical circuits under load to ensure solar panels match the load.
- Grid Modes: Program the appropriate grid mode (Full Grid sell or limited power to home). Verify Grid HM measurements.
- Off-Grid Operation: Turn off the AC breaker to test off-grid mode for several minutes.
- PV Input Test: Turn off PV input and run on batteries to ensure appliances remain powered.
Warranty and Registration
