The Sol-Ark 15K-2P-N Hybrid Inverter Conduit Box is an accessory designed to provide a seamless connection between the Sol-Ark 15K-2P-N Hybrid Inverter and HELIOS ESS Lithium batteries. It serves to hide and protect the wiring within the energy storage system. Installation and configuration must be performed by qualified personnel.
Safety and Emergency Procedures
Warning: Electric shock and fire hazards exist. Do not disassemble or modify the battery. Do not touch exposed contents if the battery case is damaged. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) including insulated gloves, glasses, and boots.
Emergency: If there is a burning smell, turn off the power conversion equipment and call the installer. In case of fire, call 911; do not attempt to extinguish the fire or use water.

Installation
Preparation: Use a stud finder to locate wall studs. The battery wall-mount bracket requires at least 4 bolts supported by wall studs. If studs are not in ideal locations, add structural supports to handle the weight of the battery (130 kg) and inverter (62.5 kg).



Mounting:
- Use the provided drilling template to mark hole locations for the battery and inverter wall-mount brackets.
- Drill holes and secure the wall-mount brackets.
- Attach the battery to the wall-mount bracket.
- Unscrew the four conduit box mounting screws on top of the battery.
- Place the conduit box on top of the battery and secure it with the mounting screws.
- Attach the inverter to its wall-mount bracket.
Wiring
Single Battery:


- Pass the positive and negative battery cables from the inverter through the conduit box.
- Connect the lugs to the inverter's battery ports.
- Unscrew the battery terminal cover plates.
- Connect the cable connectors to the battery terminals.
- Connect the CAT6 communication cable from the inverter's CAN port to the battery's COM2 port.
Multiple Batteries:
Paralleling batteries requires the HELIOS ESS Parallel Wire Kit (950-0068). A maximum of three batteries can be connected in parallel with conduit boxes. Follow the specific wiring diagrams provided in the manual to connect batteries at opposite ends of the battery bank.
Communication Setup
There are two methods for closed-loop communication:

- With LYNK II Gateway: Connect the inverter to the LYNK II Gateway, then to the batteries.
- Without LYNK II Gateway: Connect the inverter directly to the first battery, then daisy-chain the batteries using CAT6 cables. A termination resistor may be required at the end of the LYNK network.
Practical help
Common problems
Turn OFF the power conversion equipment and call the installer for an immediate inspection.
Call 911. Do not attempt to put out the fire and do not spray water or other fire retardants.
Do not touch exposed contents. Contact a service center.
Before use
- Ensure installation is performed by qualified personnel.
- Use insulated tools sized to match nuts, bolts, and cables.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Verify wall studs can support the weight of the battery (130 kg) and inverter (62.5 kg).
- Confirm all items from the shipping list are present.
- Read the HELIOS ESS Installation and Operation Manual (805-0090) before starting.
