Before using your new Stirling 115L Vintage Bar Fridge, please note these essential steps: let the appliance stand upright for approximately 24 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerant gases to settle. When first starting, set the thermostat to the maximum setting (7) for at least 2 hours before adding food. Ensure the unit is installed on a level surface with at least 10cm of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.

Safety Instructions
This appliance contains flammable refrigerant (isobutane R600a) and cyclopentane insulation blowing gas. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Keep ventilation openings clear. Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting. The appliance is for indoor domestic use only.
Installation
The fridge is heavy; use a two-person lift. It is designed for freestanding use only and should not be built-in. Ensure the floor is sturdy and level. Adjust the leveling feet at the base if necessary. Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
Door Handle Installation
The handle is supplied unattached. Affix the two long screws to the door, place the metal handle over the screws, and fasten the two small screws at the bottom of the handle.

Thermostat Control
The thermostat dial is located on the ceiling of the cabinet. The scale ranges from 1 (warmest) to 7 (coldest). Setting 0 turns the unit off. For general operation, a middle setting (3-4) is usually appropriate.

Food Storage
The refrigerator compartment is for short-term storage of fresh food. Do not overload the fridge. Ensure air can circulate freely around items. Do not block ventilation openings. Use the shelf-hanging wine rack for bottles if needed.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Defrost the fridge when ice on the evaporator reaches about 3mm thickness. To defrost, turn the thermostat to 0, unplug the unit, and leave the door open. Clean interior surfaces with a solution of 2 tablespoons of baking soda per 1 litre of water. Never use abrasive cleaners, steam cleaners, or sharp metal tools to remove ice.
Troubleshooting
If the fridge does not operate, check the power supply, fuse, and thermostat setting. If the fridge is noisy, ensure it is level. If the door does not close, check the gasket and shelf positioning. If the compressor runs continuously, check for hot room temperatures or excessive door openings.
