Installation steps
1. Measurements
Lay out all components on a soft surface. Measure 65 inches (165 cm) above the ledge of the tub on both sides. Use the reference guide below to determine the distance from the front edge of the tub to the drilling point.
2. Position top anchors
Drill a hole into the drywall or tile at the marked position using a 3/16 inch (5 mm) drill bit. Use a hammer to gently tap the anchor into the hole until it is flush with the wall.
3. Position bottom anchors
Align the top hole of the plastic support with the installed top anchor. Mark the bottom hole through the plastic support, ensuring it is perfectly straight. Drill the bottom hole and insert the anchor.
4. Install brackets
Place the left bracket over the plastic support, ensuring it points outwards from the tub. Secure it using the large screws and a Phillips screwdriver. Repeat this process for the right side.
5. Install rod
Insert the smaller rod into the larger rod. Position the rod ends over the brackets and secure them using the small screws.
Safety precautions
- Do not allow children to climb, swing, or hang on the curtain or the rod.
- The rod is not designed to support a person pulling or leaning against it.
