Setup and Connections

To set up your VOICETONE-T1, follow these steps:

Power: Connect the included 12V / >= 400 mA power supply to the Power input.
Microphone: Connect your microphone to the Mic input.
Output: Connect the Out to a mixer or powered speaker.
USB: Use the USB port with the included mini-USB cable for firmware updates.

Operation

Once connected, adjust the Mic Input Level Control until the Input Level LED shows green. If the LED turns red, reduce the input level to avoid clipping. Use the Shape Control and Comp/De-ess Control to dial in your desired vocal tone and dynamics. Engage the Warmth Button if you need additional low-frequency fullness. Use the footswitch to toggle the effect on or off during your performance.

Common problems

Input Level LED is red

The signal is clipping. Reduce the Mic Input Level Control until the LED stays green.

No sound from the unit

Ensure the Effect Active LED is on and the footswitch is engaged. Check all cable connections.

Firmware update needed

Connect the device to a computer using the included mini-USB cable.

Before use

Ensure you have a 12V / >= 400 mA power supply.
Connect your microphone to the Mic input.
Connect the Out to a mixer or powered speaker.
