This document provides essential operating instructions for the Tefal Duo Power steam iron. Before first use, ensure you have read the separate safety and use instructions booklet. The device is designed for both ironing and vertical steaming.

Operation

To begin using the iron:

• Ensure the device is switched to the OFF position before plugging it into a power outlet.
• Switch the device to the ON position.
• Wait for the indicator light to show the device is ready (OK).
• For standard ironing, use the steam settings as indicated.
• For stubborn creases, use the BOOST function by pressing the steam trigger three times in quick succession.

Auto-off feature

The iron is equipped with an automatic shut-off function for safety. If the iron is left inactive for up to 8 minutes, it will enter standby mode. Ensure the device is switched to the ON position to resume heating.

Maintenance and cleaning

To maintain the performance of your iron:

• Always switch the device to the OFF position and unplug it after use.
• Allow the iron to cool down completely before storing.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads on the soleplate.
• Empty the water tank after each use to prevent mineral buildup.
• Store the power cord carefully, ensuring it is not wrapped too tightly around the base.
