This document provides essential instructions for operating the Trevi HMP 12E08 AIR wireless earphones. Key operations include automatic power on/off when removed from or placed into the charging case, Bluetooth pairing, and touch-based music and call management.
Earphones overview
The system consists of the earphones, a charging box, rubber ear moulds (sizes L and S), and a USB/USB Type-C cable. The earphones feature a touch switch, speaker, charging contacts, and LED indicators. The charging base includes its own LED indicators and a Type-C charging socket.
Charging
Charging the base: Connect the provided USB/USB Type-C cable to a 5V USB power supply and the Type-C socket on the base. The base LED indicators show the charge percentage.
Charging the earphones: Place the earphones into the charging slots, ensuring the charging contacts match. Charging starts automatically. The base LEDs will light up, and the earphone LEDs will glow white. All indicators turn off when charging is complete.
Bluetooth pairing
- Remove the earphones from the case; they will automatically enter pairing mode with each other.
- Once paired with each other, the earphones enter pairing mode with your device, indicated by flashing white and green LEDs.
- Activate Bluetooth on your external device and search for "HMP12E08AIR".
- Select the device from the list. The indicator LED will stop flashing once successfully paired.
Operation and controls
Music playback:
- Pause/Resume: Quick tap on either earpiece.
- Volume Up: Two quick taps on the right earpiece.
- Volume Down: Two quick taps on the left earpiece.
- Next Track: Three quick taps on the right earpiece.
- Previous Track: Three quick taps on the left earpiece.
Phone calls:
- Answer/End call: Quick tap on either earpiece.
- Reject call: Tap and hold the touch button on either earpiece.
- Voice assistant: Press and hold either earpiece for 3 seconds.
Battery and maintenance
The earphones have a lithium battery providing approximately 4 hours of autonomy. For optimal performance, fully charge the earphones before the first use. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself. Clean the device using a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid solvents or abrasives.

Common problems
Connection interrupted during use
Normally, the connection resets automatically. If not, repeat the pairing procedure from point 2 to 4.
Pairing not completed within 5 minutes
The earphones will turn off. Switch them on again and restart the pairing procedure from point 1.
Low battery indication
The earphones will emit an audible message when the battery is close to running out.
Before use
- Fully charge the earphones before the first use.
- Ensure the charging contacts on the earphones and base are clean and aligned.
- Keep devices within 1 meter during the pairing process.
- Verify that your device supports the Bluetooth AVRCP profile for full functionality.
