Quick guide from the manual
The Urmet 1168/51W is a name directory module designed for the Alpha calling module (Mod. 1168). This document provides instructions for installing the module, inserting name tags, and connecting multiple units to a transformer.
Description
The module is available in two versions: 1168/51 (black) and 1168/51G (gray). Both versions include a temporary transparent name tag and a permanent name tag that can be customized by engraving.
Name tag insertion
To fit or replace a name tag, you must first remove the front part of the module. Once the front is removed, you can insert or swap the customized name tag.
Connection
The module operates on 12 V~ power. When connecting multiple modules, ensure you use the provided cables (9 cm or 58 cm). All unused IN/OUT connectors must be protected using the supplied caps to ensure system integrity.
Installation constraints
For a correct installation, a maximum of 20 modules (Ref. 1168/51) can be connected to a single transformer (Ref. 9000/230).
Maintenance
