This deep fryer is designed for domestic use only. Before first use, ensure the appliance is placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area. Always ensure the handle is securely attached to the frying basket before operation. The appliance features a thermal cut-out switch; if it overheats, unplug it and allow it to cool for 30 minutes before reuse.

Assembly
Ensure the basket handle is completely secure before use. The handle must be locked into the frying basket mechanism as shown in the assembly diagram to prevent accidents during frying.
Operation
1. Filling: Fill the oil pot with oil up to the 1.5L mark.
2. Heating: Turn the temperature dial to the desired setting. Allow 5-10 minutes for the appliance to pre-heat. The indicator light will show when it is ready.
3. Frying: Lower the basket into the oil. Always use the appliance with the lid closed during operation.
4. Draining: Once cooking is complete, lift the basket and hook it onto the rim of the oil pot to allow excess oil to drain back into the pot.
5. Finishing: Turn the dial to '0' and disconnect the power cord after use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Never immerse electrical or heating components in water. Hand washing is recommended for removable parts. Soak in warm soapy water and wipe with a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads. The oil should be changed every 20 uses. When changing the oil, wipe the oil pot with absorbent paper, followed by a damp cloth and a little detergent.

Safety

Common problems
Appliance shuts down during use
The thermal cut-out switch has activated due to overheating. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool for 30 minutes before attempting to use it again.
New smell or vapour during first use
