Quick guide from the manual

The VonShef 2000087 blender is equipped with a thermal cut-out switch. If the appliance overheats due to misuse or overfilling, it will shut down automatically. Unplug the device and allow it to cool for 30 minutes before attempting to use it again. The blender features an interlocking safety switch, meaning all components must be correctly assembled for the motor to operate.

Operation

For best results, cut solid ingredients into small pieces. If processing solid ingredients, always add a small amount of liquid. Gradually increase the speed to achieve the desired consistency. Use the PULSE function for stirring solid or very thick liquid ingredients to prevent the blade from becoming stuck. Never blend ice on its own; always add a small amount of liquid. Never exceed the MAX FILL quantity.

Tips for best results

Add small portions of solid ingredients one by one rather than adding a large quantity at once. If the blender stops or ingredients are not processing, stop the blender and add more liquid through the food/liquid opening on the lid.

Cleaning and maintenance

All removable components are NOT dishwasher safe. Always wash by hand after leaving to soak in warm, soapy water. Use a cleaning brush to clean the blade unit, as the blades are very sharp. To clean the jug and blade unit together, add warm water and a small amount of detergent to the jug, then use the PULSE function.
