Speed control dial settings
Speed control dial settings
  • Pulse function: Hold the dial at the PULSE position for short bursts of speed. Do not operate for more than 30 seconds at a time.
  • Settings 1-8: Use lower speeds (1-5) for heavy mixtures like dough, and higher speeds (6-8) for light mixtures like cream or egg whites.
  • Off: Turn the dial to '0' to stop the mixer completely.

Note: Do not operate the stand mixer for more than 5 minutes continuously.

Operation

Ensure the speed control dial is at '0' before connecting to the mains. The LED light will flash blue. Add ingredients to the bowl, ensuring you do not exceed the 4.5L maximum capacity (recommended to keep below 3L to prevent spillages). Ingredients can be added during operation through the port in the splash guard.

Troubleshooting

  • Stand mixer will not start: Check mains connection. Thermal cut-out may have activated; allow to cool.
  • Motor sounds laboured: Mixture may be too thick. Add liquid or reduce the amount of mixture.
  • Vibrating excessively: Reduce speed setting. Stop, lift head, and remove excess mixture from the accessory.
  • Mixing bowl loose: Ensure the bowl is locked into position prior to use.
  • Attachments coming loose: Refer to the assembly section to ensure correct attachment.
