This guide provides essential steps to set up and use your Waterpik Cordless Water Flosser. Before first use, ensure the unit is fully charged for 24 hours. Always unplug the charging cord before filling the reservoir with lukewarm water and keep the tip inside your mouth while the unit is powered on to avoid splashing.

Getting started

Follow these steps to prepare your device for use:

• Charging: Turn the power OFF. Plug the power cord into an outlet and insert the charging cord into the unit. Charge for 24 hours prior to the first use.
• Filling: Unplug the charging cord from the unit. Lift the flip-top on the reservoir and fill it with lukewarm water. Refill as needed.
• Tip Insertion: Press the tip firmly into the unit until it clicks into place. To remove the tip, push the tip eject button. Do not press the tip eject button while the unit is running.

How to use

For effective flossing, follow these instructions:

• Turn the power ON.
• Lean over the sink and close your lips enough to prevent splashing.
• Keep the unit upright during use to ensure continuous water flow.
• Aim the water at the gumline at a 90-degree angle.
• Follow the gumline and pause briefly between teeth.
• Keep the tip in your mouth while the unit is on to avoid mess.
