This manual provides essential safety, installation, and operation instructions for the Weber 1200N BBQ Grill. Always use the barbecue outdoors in a well-ventilated area. Never use it in enclosed spaces like garages, tents, or vehicles. Before use, ensure the cylinder is properly connected and perform a leak check.

Safety Guidelines
- Outdoor Use Only: Never operate the barbecue indoors or in enclosed areas.
- Gas Safety: If you smell gas, shut off the gas supply, extinguish any open flames, and open the lid. If the odor persists, move away and call emergency services.
- Leak Testing: Never use a flame to check for leaks. Use a soap and water solution on all connections.
- Cylinder Handling: Use only ULPG cylinders with a maximum capacity of 9 kg. Store cylinders outdoors.
Installation and Assembly
Ensure all parts are in place before use. Do not modify the appliance or use adapters for the gas connection.

- Cylinder Installation: Place the cylinder behind the barbecue or inside the premium cart (if applicable). Ensure the valve faces the side or back.
- Connecting the Hose: Check that burner control knobs are in the OFF position. Connect the gas hose coupling to the cylinder and hand-tighten clockwise.
Operation

Igniting the Barbecue
- Open the barbecue lid.
- Ensure burner control knobs are in the OFF position.
- Turn the main burner control knob to the START/HIGH position.
- Push the red igniter button repeatedly until the burner lights.
- If the burner does not ignite within 5 seconds, turn the knob to OFF, wait 5 minutes for gas to clear, and try again.
Preheating
Preheat the barbecue with the lid closed on the START/HIGH setting for 10 to 15 minutes or until the thermometer reaches 260°C (500°F). This prevents food from sticking and burns off residue.
Extinguishing
Push the burner control knob in and turn clockwise to the OFF position. Turn off the gas supply at the cylinder.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for performance and safety.

- Lid: Brush carbonized grease from the inside with a stainless steel bristle brush.
- Cooking Grills: Brush debris off with a stainless steel bristle brush before every cook.
- Burners: Clean burner ports by brushing across the top (not lengthwise). Clean spider/insect screens to ensure proper airflow.
- Grease Management: Regularly clean the slide-out catch pan and replace the disposable drip tray.
Troubleshooting
If the barbecue fails to ignite, first determine if there is gas flow by using a match to light the burner manually. If match lighting is successful, check the ignition system, including battery condition and wire connections. If match lighting is unsuccessful, check the gas supply and cylinder connection.

Practical help
Common problems
Check gas flow, ensure cylinder is open, verify battery and wire connections for electronic ignition, or attempt manual match lighting.
Immediately turn off the cylinder valve. Do not operate the barbecue. Check connections with soapy water and tighten or reconnect if necessary.
Perform a thorough cleaning of the cookbox, burners, and cooking grills.
