  1. Remove Original Mechanism: Remove the original locking mechanism from the motorcycle as shown in the diagrams.
  2. Align Plastic Cover: To avoid jamming, loosen the marked screws on the plastic cover of the luggage carrier. Align the cover flush with the cast edge and retighten.
  3. Prepare Brackets: Attach the rubber buffers to the brackets. It is recommended to use instant adhesive for extra security.
  4. Mounting Brackets: Install the brackets on the motorcycle. Pay close attention to the riding direction:
    • For the rear bracket, the wide opening of the trapezoidal groove points to the rear (against riding direction).
    • For the front bracket, the wide opening of the trapezoidal groove points forward (with riding direction).
  5. Final Assembly: Secure all components using the provided screws. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the specified torque settings.
