This document provides the installation procedure for the SHAD backrest kit (model HOFR17RV) for the 2018 Honda Forza 125i. Please note that the backrest pad itself is not included in this kit and must be purchased separately.

Ensure all components are present before starting installation:

- 2: Main support bracket (262203)

- 5: M10x25 screw (304116, x2)
- 6: M10x40 screw (304192, x2)
- 7: 303045 (x2)
- 8: M8x20 screw (304081, x2)
Installation steps
Follow the sequence shown in the diagrams:
- Identify the mounting points on the motorcycle frame (A).
- Assemble the brackets using the provided screws (3, 5, 6, 7, 8) and spacers (4).
- Attach the main support bracket (2) to the motorcycle frame.
- Secure the backrest mount (1) to the support bracket.
- Verify alignment before final tightening.
Important warnings
Do not fully tighten the screws until the kit is correctly attached and aligned. This ensures proper fitment and prevents damage to the motorcycle bodywork.
