To get started with your ACiQ remote controller, follow these steps:

- Fit Batteries: Slide the back cover off and insert two R03/LR03 3.0V batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Select Mode: Press the MODE button to cycle through AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, and FAN modes.
- Set Temperature: Use the TEMP up/down buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
- Select Fan Speed: Press the FAN SPEED button to adjust airflow.
- Point and Power: Point the remote toward the indoor unit and press the ON/OFF button.
Handling the remote controller
The remote must be used within 8 meters of the unit. Ensure there are no obstacles like curtains or furniture blocking the infrared signal. If the remote will not be used for more than 2 months, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Buttons and functions
The remote features several buttons to control your air conditioner:

- ON/OFF: Turns the unit on or off.
- MODE: Cycles through operation modes.
- TEMP: Increases or decreases temperature. Pressing both up and down buttons for 3 seconds toggles between °C and °F.
- FAN SPEED: Adjusts fan speed.
- SWING: Controls horizontal louver movement. Holding for 2 seconds initiates vertical louver auto swing.
- ECO/GEAR: Enters energy-efficient modes.
- TIMER: Sets the timer for automatic on/off.
- CLEAN: Activates self-clean or active clean functions.
- TURBO: Enables the unit to reach the preset temperature quickly.
- LED: Turns the indoor unit's LED display and buzzer on/off.
Basic functions
AUTO Mode: The unit automatically selects COOL, FAN, or HEAT based on the set temperature. Fan speed cannot be adjusted in this mode.
COOL or HEAT Mode: Set your desired temperature and fan speed. Note that HEAT mode is not supported by cooling-only models.
DRY Mode: The unit operates to dehumidify. Fan speed is automatically controlled.
FAN Mode: Only the fan operates. Temperature cannot be set.
Advanced functions
- Timer: Use the TIMER button to set the amount of time after which the unit will automatically turn on or off. Time increases in 30-minute increments up to 10 hours, then 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.
- Breeze Away: Avoids direct airflow on the body (available in Cool, Fan, and Dry modes).
- Follow Me: The remote measures the temperature at its current location and sends the signal to the unit every 3 minutes.
- AP Mode: Used for wireless network configuration.
- Lock Function: Press Clean and Turbo buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to lock/unlock the remote.
- FP Function: Operates the unit at high fan speed with the temperature set to 8°C/46°F (Heat pump models only).
Screen indicators
The remote display shows various icons including transmission status, current mode (Auto, Cool, Dry, Heat, Fan), fan speed, timer settings, and active features like ECO, GEAR, LOCK, and TURBO. Note that not all models support all displayed features.

Common problems
Check if batteries are inserted correctly. Ensure you are within 8 meters of the unit and there are no obstacles blocking the signal.
The indoor unit may not support that specific function. If the unit does not have the feature, pressing the button will have no effect.
Check if Silence mode is active, as it uses low-frequency compressor operation. Also, ensure the set temperature is appropriate for the mode.

- Insert two R03/LR03 3.0V batteries.
- Ensure the air conditioner is plugged in and power is available.
- Remove any obstacles (curtains, furniture) between the remote and the unit.
