This document provides setup and operational instructions for the Acurite 06007RM display unit. Note that this display requires a separate AcuRite 5-in-1 Weather Sensor to function. Ensure both units are set to the same A-B-C ID code to synchronize.

Display Unit Setup

  1. A-B-C Switch: Locate the switch inside the battery compartment. Set it to A, B, or C, ensuring it matches the setting on your 5-in-1 sensor.
  2. Power: Plug the included power adapter into an electrical outlet. Optional backup batteries can be installed in the compartment.

Setting Time and Date

Setting the time and date is essential for accurate history logging.

  • Press the ▲ or ▼ buttons until SET CLOCK? appears, then press SET.
  • Adjust hours and minutes using ▲/▼, confirming each with SET.
  • Repeat the process for SET DATE? to configure month, day, and year.

Operation and Settings

Measurement Units: Navigate to SET UNITS? to toggle between standard (mph, °F) and metric (kph, °C) units. You can also select wind speed units (MPH, KPH, or KNOTS).

Weather Ticker: The ticker displays real-time information. Use the SET button to cycle through messages. You can customize which messages appear by using the add or remove buttons during manual review.

Programmable Weather Alarms

You can set alarms for various categories (e.g., temperature, humidity, wind speed). To set an alarm:

  1. Select the desired category using ▲/▼.
  2. Press and hold the alarm button until the ADJ indicator appears.
  3. Adjust the value with ▲/▼ and press the alarm button to confirm.
  4. Activate the alarm by pressing the alarm button again.

Calibration

To improve accuracy, you can calibrate temperature and humidity readings:

  1. Select the category to calibrate.
  2. Press and hold ▲, ▼, and SET simultaneously for 15-20 seconds.
  3. Adjust the value using ▲/▼ and confirm with SET.

Clean the display with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid caustic cleaners. Keep ventilation ports clear of dust and debris.
