Quick guide from the manual

This document provides instructions for the AcuRite 13239CCDI Projection Alarm Clock. Key features include atomic clock synchronization for split-second accuracy, automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustments, and a projection display. Before first use, remove the protective film from the display.

Basic Setup

Connect the included AC power adapter to a standard wall outlet. While the clock is designed to synchronize automatically, it is recommended to perform an initial manual setup:

  • Press the CLOCK ADJUST button to enter setting mode.
  • Use the arrow buttons to adjust values and press CLOCK ADJUST to confirm.
  • Settings sequence: Time Format (12/24h), Time Zone, Hours, Minutes, Month, Date, Year.
  • The clock will exit setup mode automatically if no buttons are pressed for 10 seconds.

Atomic Clock Function

The clock automatically synchronizes with the atomic clock transmitter. If you wish to disable this feature, press and hold the CLOCK ADJUST button for 10 seconds until RCC OFF appears. Repeat the process to re-enable. Ensure the DST switch on the back is set to ON if your region observes Daylight Saving Time.

Alarm and Snooze

  • Set Alarm: Press ALARM ADJUST, use arrows to set the hour, press ALARM ADJUST, then set minutes and press ALARM ADJUST to exit.
  • Toggle Alarm: Press the ALARM ON/OFF button. The alarm icon will appear on the screen when active.
  • Snooze: Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button while the alarm is sounding to silence it for 5 minutes.

Time Projector

When powered by the AC adapter, the projector is on by default. Use the switch on the back to turn it off. When using battery power, press SNOOZE/LIGHT to activate the projection for 4 seconds. Use the FOCUS dial on the back to sharpen the image and the FLIP button to rotate the display.

Backup Batteries

Install 3 AA alkaline batteries to maintain settings during power outages. Note that the projector and backlight are only available momentarily on battery power to conserve energy.
