Set the Time & Units

The order is: 12/24-hour clock, clock hour, and clock minute. To toggle between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), press the °F/°C button on the display.

Placement Guidelines

Proper placement is critical for accuracy:

  • Place the display unit in a dry area. It can be wall-mounted or used on a tabletop.
  • The outdoor sensor should be placed outside in a shaded area protected from direct weather elements, 4 to 8 feet above the ground.
  • Ensure the display and sensor are within 165 feet (50 meters) of each other.
  • Keep both units at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from electronic devices like TVs or microwaves to prevent interference.

Using the Thermometer

The device automatically records daily high and low temperatures, which reset at 12:00 AM. Press the MAX/MIN button to view these records. To manually clear the records, press and hold the MAX/MIN button while viewing the respective high or low data.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues such as no sensor reception or flashing temperature readings, ensure the units are within range and away from interference. If problems persist, remove batteries from both units, reinstall them, and allow them to sit near each other for 20 minutes to re-establish a connection.

Care & Maintenance

Clean both units with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid caustic cleaners or abrasives. Keep the display unit free of dust and moisture, and clean its ventilation ports regularly with a gentle puff of air.
