Installation
Proper installation is critical for performance and warranty coverage:
- Surface: Install on a strong, level surface to prevent noise and malfunction.
- Transport: If the unit was transported on its side, let it stand for at least 24 hours before plugging it in.
- Clearance: Maintain at least 4 inches of clearance at the back and 3 inches around all vented panels for proper airflow.
- Environment: Install indoors in a well-ventilated area. Avoid high humidity, dusty areas, and locations near heat-generating equipment.
- Electrical: Use a dedicated, grounded, and properly-sized electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.
Temperature Controls
Units are factory-set to optimal temperatures. To adjust the minimum temperature:
- Hold the SET button for 1 second until the display flashes.
- Use the arrow buttons to adjust the temperature.
- Press SET again to save the new setting.
Note: The cabinet temperature will fluctuate up to +7 degrees above the set minimum as the compressor cycles.
Loading Product

Running a Manual Defrost Cycle
Units are pre-programmed for automatic defrosting. To run a manual cycle:
- Freezers: Press the defrost button (labeled 'def' and down arrow) for approximately 5 seconds. Repeat to stop.
- Refrigerators: Press the defrost button (snowflake symbol and down arrow) for approximately 3 seconds. Repeat to stop.
Regular Maintenance
Warning: Always disconnect the power cord before cleaning.
- Condenser Coil: Clean at least once per month using a commercial condenser coil cleaner. Brush fins from top to bottom.
- Interior: Use warm water and mild soap. Avoid steel wool, caustic soaps, or bleach.

Compressor not running
