Important Information from the Manual

This Avantco Potato Peeler is designed for commercial use only in restaurants and similar establishments. It is intended for peeling potatoes, garlic, and onions. It is not for household use. The machine requires a water supply connection and proper electrical grounding. Always clean the machine after each use and never use the peeling plate in a dishwasher.

Intended Use

The machine is designed to peel potatoes, garlic, and onions. It is not intended for other vegetables, fruits, mussel shells, or fish scales. Use by trained personnel is required.

Safety Instructions

• Commercial use only: Do not use for household purposes.
• Electrical safety: Keep the plug and cord away from water. Do not touch with wet hands. Ensure the outlet is grounded.
• Operation: Never leave the machine unattended while in use. Keep children away.
• Maintenance: Always disconnect from power before cleaning or maintenance. Never use high-pressure water jets on electrical components.

Installation

Unpacking and Placement

Remove all packing material and protection film. Place the machine on a level, steady surface with sufficient clearance for ventilation.

Electrical Connection

Connection should be performed by skilled personnel. Ensure the line voltage and frequency match the machine's serial plate.

Water and Discharge Connection

• Connect the supplied hose (59 in) to the water inlet at the back of the machine.
• Connect the other end to the water supply.
• For floor models, use the hose clamp to affix the drain hose to the discharge pan joint and insert the other end into the drainage system.

Operation

1. Open the transparent lid by pulling the handle.
2. Load the tank with the product.
3. Lock the lid and ensure the outlet door is locked.
4. Turn on the master wall switch.
5. Turn the timer knob to the desired time (0-5 minutes). The machine will start.
6. Ensure rinsing water is flowing.
7. Once the cycle ends, the machine stops automatically.
8. To discharge, place a container under the outlet door, open the door, and press the pulse button to rotate the disk.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Clean the machine after each use.
• Switch off and unplug before cleaning.
• Do not use steel wool, strong chemicals, or abrasive agents.
• Remove the peeling plate and clean the chamber with a suitable brush.
• Note: The peeling plate is not dishwasher safe.
• Check the waste outlet pipe for blockages after each cycle.

Reassembly and Storage

Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly. Store in a dry, protected environment at room temperature. Keep the upper lid open during storage to prevent odors or mold.
