This document provides essential instructions for the safe assembly and operation of the Belleze 18" Insert Fireplace Heater. The unit requires two people for assembly and should be installed into a fireplace mantel from the back. Always ensure the unit is plugged into a properly grounded wall outlet and keep combustible materials at least 3 feet away from the heater.

Assembly

The assembly process takes approximately 15 minutes and requires two people. Assemble the unit on a soft surface like a carpet or rug to prevent scratches. Ensure all components are present before starting. The unit must be installed from the back of the mantel by aligning it with the opening and securing it with the provided screws through the drilled holes.

Safety information

• Do not use the heater outdoors or in bathrooms/laundry areas.
• Do not run the power cord under carpeting or cover it with rugs.
• Always plug the heater directly into a wall outlet; do not use extension cords or power strips.
• The unit features a thermostat limiter that automatically cuts power if the internal temperature becomes too high.
• Keep combustible materials (furniture, bedding, curtains) at least 3 feet away from the front, sides, and rear.
• Do not insert foreign objects into ventilation openings.

Operation

The heater can be controlled via the panel on the top right corner or the included remote control. Features include flame brightness adjustment (4 levels), heater on/off, timer (1-8 hours), and temperature control (11 settings between 64°F - 82°F / 18°C - 27°C). A lock function is available by holding the heater control button for 10 seconds. To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, hold the power button for 5 seconds.

Maintenance and cleaning

Always turn off and unplug the unit before cleaning. Allow the heater to cool down completely. Use a vacuum or duster to remove accumulated dust from vents. Clean the surface with a lightly dampened cloth or soft brush. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Troubleshooting

If the unit malfunctions, check the following error codes: E1 (overheating), E2 (defective NTC), or E3 (heat not working). For E3, ensure vents are not clogged, unplug the unit for 5 minutes, then restart. For E1 and E2, contact customer service at 1-800-682-6376 or [email protected].
