The assembly process involves 23 steps, including base construction, side panel attachment, back panel installation, and door mounting. Safety is paramount; the unit must be permanently affixed to the wall using the provided anti-tipping straps to prevent serious injury.

Safety and warnings

• Tipping Hazard: Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur if the furniture tips over. You must permanently affix the unit to the wall using the included anti-tipping device.
• Weight Limits: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 80 lb for the top panel and 20 lb for the storage shelves.
• Usage: Designed for flat panel TVs only. The recommended maximum TV width is 75 inches.
• Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the assembly area due to small parts and potential tipping hazards.

Assembly preparation

Before starting, ensure you have the following tools: a Philips screwdriver, a rubber mallet, and an electric drill. Lay out all components on a flat surface. Assembly steps

The assembly follows a logical sequence: 1. Base Assembly: Attach base strips to the bottom panel. 2. Main Structure: Connect side panels, medial panel, and back supports. 3. Back Panels: Slide in the back panels. 4. Top Panel: Secure the top panel to the structure. 5. Shelves and Doors: Insert shelf pegs and attach door hinges to the cabinet doors, then mount the doors to the unit.

Hinge adjustment

If there are gaps or height differences between the cabinet doors and the cabinet, adjust the hinges as follows:

• Up and Down: Loosen the screws on the mounting plate.
• Side to Side: Adjust the screw on the hinge arm.
• In and Out: Loosen the screws on the hinge arm.

Care and maintenance

To ensure longevity, tighten all bolts and screws within the first 2 weeks of assembly and check their tightness every 2 months. Clean the surface with a lightly dampened cloth and a small amount of mild soap if necessary. Dry the surface immediately. Do not use bleach, alcohol-based cleaners, or wood treatments on MDF parts, as water damage can cause swelling and distortion.
