The Belleze Portman Fireplace Entertainment Center requires 2 people for assembly. The estimated assembly time is 120 minutes. Before starting, ensure you have a flat surface (carpet or rug recommended) and necessary tools, including a hammer, drill, and screwdriver. Verify all components against the package contents list before beginning.

Safety and warnings

• Weight Limits: The top panel supports a maximum of 70 lbs. Storage shelves support a maximum of 30 lbs.
• TV Compatibility: Designed for flat panel TVs up to 75 inches and weighing 70 lbs (31.8 kg) or less.
• Tipping Hazard: Furniture must be permanently fixed to the wall stud using the included anti-tipping device to prevent serious or fatal injury.
• Small Parts: Keep small components, plastic bags, and packaging film away from children and pets to avoid choking or suffocation hazards.

Assembly instructions

The assembly process involves 34 steps. Key procedures include:

• Hardware Installation: Install cam bolts and wood dowels into the designated panels. Ensure all hardware is installed perpendicular to the opening.
• Frame Assembly: Assemble the center panel, leg panels, and bottom panels. Secure the metal frame under the center bottom panel.
• Hinge Adjustment: If cabinet doors are uneven, use the hinge adjustment screws:
  • Up and down: Loosen screws on the mounting plate.
  • In and out: Loosen screws on the hinge arm.
  • Side to side: Use the front adjustment screw on the hinge.
• Fireplace Installation: Insert the fireplace heater from the front of the stand and secure it to the surround panels.
• Wall Anchoring: Mark the drill position on the wall, drill a hole, insert the wall anchor, and fix the anti-tipping strap to the wall.

Care and maintenance

• Tightening: Tighten all bolts and screws within the first 2 weeks of assembly. Check the tightness of all bolts every 2 months and tighten if necessary.
• Cleaning: Clean the MDF surface with a lightly dampened cloth. A small amount of mild soap may be used if necessary. Dry the surface immediately. Do not use bleach, alcohol, or wood treatments.
