Assembly

You will need a Phillips-head screwdriver for assembly.

  1. Slide the Upper Handle onto the lower base and secure it with two long screws.
  2. Attach the upper hose/cord wrap to the back of the handle by inserting the hook into the slot and pressing up until flush. Secure with one short screw.
  3. Attach the lower hose/cord wrap similarly using two short screws.
  4. Wrap the hose around the wraps and secure the trigger hose grip into the opening on the grip holder.
  5. Wrap the cord around the wraps and secure the plug with the clip.
  6. Attach the included tools to their storage locations.

Filling the 2-in-1 Water Tank

The 2-in-1 tank holds both clean water and formula.

  1. Remove the tank from the machine using the carry handle.
  2. Pull up on the bottom edge of the latch to remove the lid.
  3. Pull up on the bladder fill cover labeled "Fill Here".
  4. Fill the tank with warm tap water (maximum 140°F/60°C) to the fill line.
  5. Fill the provided measuring cup with Bissell formula and pour it into the bladder.
  6. Close the fill cover, replace the lid, and latch it.
  7. Place the tank back into the machine base and seat it firmly.

  1. Plug the machine into a grounded outlet.
  2. Set the ReadyTools Dial to the FLOOR CLEANING setting.
  3. Turn the machine ON using the red power pedal on the back.
  4. Recline the machine using the gray pedal.
  5. Press the Spray Trigger while making one slow forward and one slow backward pass. Do not overwet.
  6. Release the trigger and make one slow forward and backward pass over the same area to suction up the solution.
  7. Repeat until the suctioned solution appears clean.

  1. Set the ReadyTools Dial to the TOOLS setting.
  2. Attach your chosen cleaning tool to the end of the hose.
  3. Hold the tool 1-2 inches above the surface. Press the Spray Trigger to apply solution.
  4. Release the trigger, apply downward pressure, and pull toward you to suction up the dirt.
  5. When finished, rinse the tool and hose with running water.

After-Cleaning Care

Cleaning the Removable Nozzle: Pull the nozzle forward from the top, rinse under running water, and click back into place by lining up the slots on the base.

Cleaning the ReadyTools Dial: If the dial is hard to turn, remove the front nozzle, unscrew the diverter assembly, and rinse it under water while turning the dial about 10 times each way.

Troubleshooting
