Always vacuum the area with a dry vacuum cleaner before deep cleaning to achieve maximum results. Use only genuine BISSELL cleaning formulas to prevent internal damage.

Assembly
The only tool required is a Phillips-head screwdriver.

- Slide the Upper Handle onto the base.
- Feed the power cord through the opening on the Hose & Tool Holder.
- Align the Hose & Tool Holder with the Upper Handle holes.
- Secure the holder using the provided bolts and hex nuts.
- Insert screws into the lower holes above the hose rack.
- Attach tools to the hose and handle, then wrap the cord and hose.
Filling the tanks
2-in-1 Tank: Press the Recline Pedal to lay the handle down. Lift the tank using the carry handle. Unlatch the lid, fill the bladder with warm water (140°F/60°C MAX), and secure the lid. Do not boil or microwave the water.
SmartMix Tank: Lift the tank from the base. Fill with water to the WATER line and formula to the FORMULA line. Screw the cap on tightly and return to the machine.
Cleaning your floors

- Set the ReadyTools Dial to Floor Cleaning.
- Choose a SmartMix setting: Heavy Traffic (dirtiest areas), Normal (lightly soiled), or Water Rinse (no formula).
- Plug in and turn the machine ON.
- Press the trigger while making a slow pass forward and back to apply solution.
- Release the trigger and make a slow pass forward and back to suction up the liquid. Repeat until the liquid appears clean.
Maintenance and care
- Emptying: Turn power OFF, remove the 2-in-1 tank, and unlatch the lid to empty.
- After-Cleaning: Rinse the 2-in-1 tank, rinse the red lint screen, and clean the flow indicator filter.
- Nozzle: Use the Nozzle Clean Out Tool to remove hair and debris from the floor nozzle and brush rolls.
- Storage: Store in a closet or basement. Do not store where freezing may occur.
Troubleshooting
If you experience reduced spray, check if the bladder is empty, the filter is clogged, or the pump has lost prime. If the DirtLifter PowerBrush does not turn, check the brush or pump belt for breakage. For reduced suction, ensure the ReadyTools dial is set correctly and the 2-in-1 tank is properly seated.
