General Precautions

• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
• Do not use the appliance if the charger or cable is damaged. If the appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
• Do not handle the charger plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Turn OFF all controls before unplugging.
• Do not pull or carry the charger by the cable, use the cable as a handle, close a door on the cable, or pull the cable around sharp edges or corners.
• Keep the charger cable away from heated surfaces.
• To unplug, grasp the charger plug, not the cable.

Battery and Charging Safety

• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
• Do not recharge, disassemble, heat above 60°C, or incinerate the appliance, even if it is severely damaged, as batteries can explode in a fire.
• Keep the battery pack away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws when not in use, as these can create a connection between terminals and cause a short circuit, leading to burns or fire.
• Ensure the switch is in the OFF-position before picking up or carrying the appliance.
• Maintain a temperature range of 4-40°C when charging the battery, storing the unit, or during use.

Usage Restrictions

• Do not use on wet surfaces or to pick up flammable or combustible liquids (e.g., petroleum).
• Do not pick up toxic materials (chlorine bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner, etc.).
• Do not use in an enclosed space filled with vapors from oil-based paint, paint thinner, moth-proofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive/toxic vapors.
• Do not pick up hard or sharp objects like glass, nails, screws, or coins.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
• Do not use without filters in place.
• Do not allow children to sit on the vacuum.

Warranty Information

This product comes with a limited 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. This guarantee applies outside of the USA and Canada. It covers defective or malfunctioning parts or products, at Bissell's option, free of charge. The guarantee does not cover consumable components (filters, belts, mop pads) or defects arising from normal wear and tear, misuse, or unauthorized repairs.
