To get started with your BN-LINK 160WT Smart Wifi Power Strip, download the BN-LINK Smart app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Register an account and ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Plug the power strip into a live outlet. If the indicator light is not blinking rapidly, hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to reset the device. Follow the in-app instructions to add the device.

The BN-LINK 160WT is a smart surge protector featuring 6 individually controlled AC outlets and 4 USB charging ports (2 USB-A and 2 Type-C). It is designed for indoor use only.
App Installation and Setup
Download the BN-LINK Smart app. Register an account using your email or phone number and verify your registration. Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal, as 5GHz-only networks are not supported.

Connection Modes
The device supports two connection modes:


- Easy Mode: The blue indicator light blinks rapidly (every 0.5 seconds). This is the default mode for new devices.
- AP Mode: The blue indicator light blinks slowly (every 2 seconds). If Easy Mode fails, hold the power button for 7 seconds to enter AP Mode. In the app, select Other Mode and choose AP Mode to complete the setup.
Voice Control Integration
You can control your smart plug using Amazon Alexa or Google Home.


Amazon Alexa
Open the Alexa app, go to Skills & Games, search for BN-LINK Smart, and enable the skill. Link your BN-LINK Smart account to authorize the connection. Ensure device names in the Alexa app match those in the BN-LINK Smart app.
Google Home
Open the Google Home app, select Setup device, and choose Works with Google. Search for BN-LINK Smart and link your account. Once linked, assign the device to a room to enable voice control.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues:
- Connection failure: Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz and the password is correct. Try both Easy Mode and AP Mode.
- Voice control not working: Verify the device is connected in the BN-LINK Smart app and that the account is correctly linked as a skill. Ensure device names are unique and recognizable.
- Device offline: Check for Wi-Fi interruptions or active schedules. Reset the device if necessary.
