The boAt Aavante Bar 1500N is a 2.1CH soundbar system with a wired subwoofer. To get started, ensure the unit is placed on a stable surface or mounted securely on the wall. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet and use the remote or the soundbar buttons to select your preferred input mode (Bluetooth, USB, AUX, Optical, or HDMI ARC). For optimal performance, ensure your TV or playback device is set to PCM audio output when using digital connections.
Safety Instructions
- Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture, or dripping liquids.
- Ensure at least 20 cm of space above and 5 cm on each side of the unit for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the unit near heat sources, strong magnetic fields, or on top of other stereo equipment.
- Use only a dry cloth for cleaning; do not use chemical solvents.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified professional.
Product Overview
The soundbar features a display and various input ports on the back, including USB, AUX, Optical, and HDMI (ARC). The subwoofer connects to the soundbar via the SW SPEAKER OUTPUT. Use the remote control to manage volume, input selection, and EQ settings (Music, Movie, News, 3D).


Installation

Table Placement
Place the soundbar horizontally on a solid surface, such as a TV unit or shelf, aligning it centrally with the TV screen. Ensure the subwoofer is positioned to allow for good airflow.
Wall Mounting
- Measure and mark two holes on the wall matching the bracket holes on the soundbar.
- Install plastic anchors and screws, leaving a small gap for the bracket.
- Attach the provided EVA pads to the wall mount bracket to ensure a minimum 15mm clearance from the wall.
- Hang the soundbar securely onto the screws.
Operating Instructions


Powering On/Off
Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. Short-press the STANDBY/POWER button to turn the unit on. The unit will automatically enter standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity.
Input Modes
- Bluetooth: Select BT mode, activate pairing on your device, and select 'Aavante Bar 1500N'.
- USB: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files. The unit will switch to USB mode automatically.
- AUX: Connect your device using an AUX cable and select AUX mode.
- Optical: Connect via optical cable. Ensure your TV audio output is set to 'PCM Stereo'.
- HDMI (ARC): Connect via a high-speed HDMI cable. Ensure your TV supports ARC and is set to 'PCM' output.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues, check the following:
- No Sound: Verify the input source, ensure the device is not muted, check cable connections, and confirm the TV output is set to PCM.
- Bluetooth Issues: Ensure the device is within range (10m), unpair and re-pair if necessary, and move away from devices emitting electromagnetic waves (like microwaves).
- Remote Not Working: Check batteries, ensure line of sight to the sensor, and avoid direct sunlight on the sensor.
