Product Description

Assembly

Battery Charging: The battery is supplied partially charged. Charge it fully in the recommended charger before first use. To remove the battery, press the unlocking buttons and pull the battery downwards.

Changing the Tool: Pull the locking sleeve forward and push the insert tool into the tool holder until it stops. The tool will lock automatically. To remove, pull the locking sleeve forward again.

Operation

Starting Operation: Set the rotational direction switch to the center position to prevent accidental starting. Insert the charged battery into the handle until it engages.

Rotational Direction: Use the rotational direction switch to change the direction. Right rotation is for drilling and driving screws; left rotation is for loosening screws and nuts.

Setting Torque: Use the torque presetting ring to select the required torque in 20 steps. The 'drill' symbol deactivates the safety clutch for drilling.

Gear Selection: Use the gear selector only when the machine is at a standstill. Gear I is for low speed (screwdriving/large diameters), and Gear II is for high speed (small diameters).

Maintenance and Service

Always remove the battery before performing any work on the machine (maintenance, tool change, etc.) or during transport and storage. Keep the machine and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. If the battery is no longer functional, contact an authorized Bosch after-sales service agent.

Tool stops during operation

The battery may be empty or the tool may be overloaded/overheated. Check the battery charge and allow the tool to cool down.

Gear selector does not move

Turn the tool holder slightly with the insert tool to align the gears.
