This manual provides instructions for the Bosch GRT 18V-33 and GFR 18V-23 cordless trimmers. These tools are designed for trimming grass, weeds, and light undergrowth. The GFR 18V-23 model also supports brush cutting with a metal blade.

Product Description
The tool features a handle, on/off switch with lock-off button, battery release, and a protection guard. The GFR 18V-23 model includes additional components for blade mounting.

Mounting and Installation
Follow the figures in the manual for assembly:


- Protection Guard: Mount the guard (7) using the screw (8) as shown in Figure C.
- Handle: Attach the safety handle (11) using the screw (13) as shown in Figures E and F.
- Blade (GFR 18V-23): Follow the sequence in Figure M to mount the cutting blade (23) with the spacer (21), dome washer (24), and nut (25).
Operation
Battery: Push the charged battery into the holder until it clicks. Press the release button to remove it.
Line Feeding (Pro-Tap): Lightly tap the spool on the ground while the tool is running to feed the line.
EasyWind: To reload the line without disassembling the spool, align the arrows on the spool with the Pro-Tap button, insert the line through the eyelet, and turn the button anticlockwise to wind the line.
Anti-Tangle: If the tool gets blocked, the motor automatically rotates the spool anti-clockwise for 3 seconds to clear the blockage.
Maintenance and Storage
Always remove the battery before maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Store in a dry, secure place. Do not spray or immerse the tool in water.
Troubleshooting
If the motor does not start, check the battery charge and ensure it is fully inserted. If the tool vibrates heavily, check for a broken line or debris in the cutting head. For persistent issues, contact Bosch customer service.
