This manual provides instructions for the Bosch ROTAK 18V-32 and 18V-34 cordless lawnmowers. Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged. The mower is intended for domestic lawn mowing at ground level. Do not use for hedge cutting or shredding.

Safety

Warning: Keep bystanders away. Keep hands and feet away from the blades. Disconnect the battery before maintenance. Do not use in the rain. Do not use a high-pressure washer or garden hose to clean the machine. Check the area for wildlife and pets before mowing.

Assembly and Operation

Assembly: Follow the diagrams for folding out and fitting the handle. Ensure all nuts, bolts, and screws are tight.

Operation:

• Battery: Insert the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks.
• Starting: Switch on the motor according to the instructions, keeping feet away from rotating parts.
• Mowing: Walk, never run. Mow across the face of slopes, never up or down.
• Mulching: Remove the grass bag and insert the mulch adapter into the ejection opening. Close the ejection flap.

Maintenance and Storage

Maintenance: Always remove the battery before any maintenance or cleaning. Wear gardening gloves when handling the blade. If the blade hits a hard object or vibrates excessively, check for damage. Ensure replacement parts are Bosch-approved.

Storage: Allow the product to cool down before storing. Empty the grassbox. Store in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children.

Troubleshooting

If the motor will not start, check if the battery is discharged, too hot/cold, or not inserted correctly. If the mower operates intermittently, check for internal wiring defects or if motor protection has been triggered. If the cutting pattern is irregular, check the cutting height, blade sharpness, and for blockages.

The ROTAK 18V-32 and 18V-34 operate on 18V. Cutting width is 32 cm and 34 cm respectively. Cutting height is 25-65 mm. Grass bag volume is 35 liters.
