Safety instructions

  • Always switch off the power tool and remove the battery before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
  • The saw chain is sharp; always wear protective gloves when handling it.
  • Do not operate the chainsaw near people, children, or animals, or if under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
  • Ensure the cover is correctly secured with the fastening bolts before operation.

Maintenance of sprocket wheel, chain bar, and saw chain

Bosch recommends using original Bosch chains, bars, and sprocket wheels to ensure optimal chain brake performance. Conversion kits for different chain pitches are available via the Bosch customer service website at www.bosch-pt.com.
