Setup and Operation

Battery Installation

The microscope requires 2x AA batteries for the LED illumination.

  1. Remove both eyepieces from the eyepiece supports.
  2. Turn the entire microscope over.
  3. Push the clamp closure and open the battery compartment cover.
  4. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring the flat minus poles press against the spring terminals and the plus poles touch the flat contact sheets.
  5. Close the battery compartment and turn the microscope back over.
  6. Replace the eyepieces.

Observation

  1. Place the object to be observed in the middle of the microscope stage.
  2. If the object is large enough, secure it with the stage clips.
  3. Look through the binocular view piece and adjust the distance between the eyepieces until you see a clear, circular image.
  4. Adjust the sharpness of the image by slowly turning the focus knob.
  5. Use the on/off switch on the base to turn the LED illumination on or off.

  • Always disconnect the device from the power supply (remove batteries) before cleaning.
