Quick guide from the manual
The Caliber CA 200P4 is a 4-channel car amplifier. For safe and optimal performance, ensure the amplifier is mounted with at least 5cm of ventilation space on all sides. Always disconnect the vehicle battery ground before starting installation. Use a power cable of at least 25mm² and install a fuse or circuit breaker within 30cm of the battery.
Mounting
- Ensure at least 5cm (2") of ventilation space on all sides to allow heat to dissipate.
- Place power and signal cables on opposite sides of the vehicle to reduce noise interference.
- Protect the amplifier from moisture and direct sunlight.
- Use the amplifier as a template to mark and drill 2.5mm holes for mounting screws.
Installation and Power

- Battery Connection: Connect the +12V terminal directly to the car battery using a cable of at least 25mm². Do not connect to the car fuse box.
- Ground Connection: Fasten the GND terminal securely to the vehicle chassis. Ensure the area is free of paint or insulation for a solid connection.
- Remote Turn-on (REM): Connect to the remote output of your radio. If no output is available, install a separate switch.
- Fuse: Always place a fuse or circuit breaker within 30cm of the battery, rated no higher than the amplifier's internal fuses.
Signal Input
The amplifier offers two signal input methods. Never use both inputs at the same time.
- High Level Input: Uses the loudspeaker output from your radio and the supplied high-level input plug.
- RCA Input: Uses RCA cables from your radio's RCA outputs to the amplifier's RCA inputs.
Amplifier Adjustments
- Set the input level adjustment knob to the minimum.
- Set the radio volume to 3/4 of the maximum.
- Adjust the Bass Boost to your preference.
- Slowly turn up the input level until you hear the amplifier begin to distort (clip). If the amplifier clips immediately, reduce the Bass Boost and restart the adjustment.
Safety and Maintenance
- Turn off the device immediately if a problem occurs.
- Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth. For severe stains, dampen the cloth with water only.
- Ensure the temperature inside the vehicle is between 0°C and +45°C before turning the unit on.
- Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself; return it to an authorized dealer for servicing.
