Safety Warnings

DANGER: Using a generator indoors can kill you in minutes. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poison you cannot see or smell.

  • NEVER use the generator inside a home or garage, even if doors and windows are open.

  1. Add Oil: Use 5W-30 oil. The capacity is up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml). Do not overfill.
  2. Move Outdoors: Ensure the generator is placed in a safe, outdoor location.
  3. Add Fuel: Add gasoline or connect a propane (LPG) tank. Note: For gasoline operation, do not use E15 or E85 fuel.
  4. Prepare for Start: Do not plug in any electrical devices yet. Never start or stop the generator with electrical devices connected or turned on.

  1. Turn the fuel vent lever to the "ON" position.
  2. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the "CHOKE" position.
  3. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
  4. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the "GASOLINE OPERATION" position.

Propane (LPG) Operation

  1. Open the propane tank valve.
  2. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the "CHOKE" position.
  3. Pull the recoil 3-5 times to prime the engine.
  4. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the "PROPANE OPERATION" position.
  5. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
