Cisco Prime Collaboration Deployment is a specialized application designed to streamline the management of Unified Communications applications. Core Functions

The application supports four primary high-level operations to maintain and evolve your communication environment:

• Migration: Move existing clusters of Unified Communications servers from source version 10.5 or higher to destination version 12.5.x or higher.
• Cluster Operations: Perform essential maintenance on clusters (version 12.5 or higher), including version upgrades, switching versions, and cluster restarts.
• Configuration Management: Modify IP addresses or hostnames within clusters running version 12.5.x or higher.
• Fresh Installations: Deploy new Unified Communications clusters starting from version 12.5.x.

Important Deployment Notes

Please note that Cisco Prime Collaboration Deployment is strictly limited to English and does not support internationalization. When upgrading to version 15 or later from pre-14 or SU source releases, you must install the specific COP file (ciscocm.enable-sha512sum-2021-signing-key-v1.0.cop.sgn) to ensure the ISO file is recognized as valid.

Managing Caveats and Bugs

Cisco utilizes a structured approach to tracking and resolving system issues. Known problems are categorized by severity levels, with these release notes focusing on severity 1 and 2 bugs, significant severity 3 bugs, and all customer-reported issues.
