This document provides essential instructions for the installation, uninstallation, and temperature limitation of the Danfoss Aveo RA click thermostatic sensor. Ensure the device is properly clicked into place on the valve body to guarantee correct operation.

Installation

The RA click system allows for tool-free mounting on compatible radiator valves:

1. Ensure the sensor is in the fully open position.
2. Align the sensor with the valve body.
3. Press the sensor firmly onto the valve until you hear a distinct click, indicating it is locked in place.

BIV Installation

For BIV (Built-in Valve) configurations:

1. Remove the protective cap from the valve.
2. Align the sensor with the valve interface.
3. Push the sensor onto the valve until it clicks securely.

Uninstall

To remove the sensor from the valve:

1. Grip the sensor firmly and rotate the locking ring or base mechanism as indicated by the arrows on the device.
2. Pull the sensor away from the valve body to release it.

Temperature Limitation

You can restrict the temperature range (Maximum or Minimum) using the provided limiter clips (Code no. 013G1246) and a small screwdriver:

1. Identify the limitation slot on the sensor head.
2. Use a screwdriver to gently pry open or adjust the internal mechanism.
3. Insert the limiter clip into the desired position to set the stop point (e.g., MAX = 4 or MIN = 2).
4. Verify the setting by rotating the dial to ensure it stops at the configured limit.

Blind mark

The sensor features a tactile blind mark to assist users in identifying settings by touch, located on the adjustment dial.
