The Danfoss TVM-H is a thermostatic mixing valve designed for sanitary hot water systems. This guide covers the installation, temperature adjustment, and maintenance of the DN20 and DN25 models. Ensure all local regulations are followed during installation.

Installation

• Ensure the system is clean and free of debris before installation.
• The valve can be rotated 360 degrees to suit piping requirements.
• Follow the flow direction indicators on the valve body: hot water inlet, cold water inlet, and mixed water outlet.
• Use appropriate tools (10mm and 21mm wrenches) for assembly.
• Ensure all seals are correctly positioned before tightening connections.

Temperature Adjustment

The valve allows for precise control of the mixed water temperature:

• Remove the protective cap to access the adjustment screw.
• Use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw while monitoring the output temperature with a thermometer.
• Clockwise rotation decreases the temperature; counter-clockwise rotation increases it.
• Once the desired temperature (range 30-70°C) is achieved, replace the cap.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance:

• Periodically check the valve for scale buildup or debris.
• If the temperature becomes unstable, clean the internal components.
• Use a 21mm wrench to disassemble the valve head if necessary for cleaning or inspection.
