This manual provides essential instructions for the proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of your Dometic insulated thermo bottle. Following these guidelines ensures optimal performance, hygiene, and longevity of the product.

Hygiene and cleaning

To maintain hygiene, wash the product with warm water and detergent before the initial use, after every use, and whenever it has not been used for an extended period. Do not use abrasives, solvents, or bleaches.

• Products made of multiple materials should not be fully submerged in water.
• Always rinse the product thoroughly and dry it completely.
• Store the product with the lid or closure open to prevent odors.
• Caps should be hand-washed, rinsed, and dried thoroughly before use.

Filling and usage

Proper filling is essential for the functionality of the bottle:

• Fill the product only to the point where the lid or closure can be easily put on and screwed tight.
• Ensure the closure is firmly closed after filling.
• For leak-proof models, turn the product upside down briefly after filling to verify that the seals are in place and the closure is working correctly.
• If the product is not designated as leak-proof, always keep it upright when filled.

Safety precautions

To ensure safety and prevent damage, observe the following restrictions:

• Do not use for carbonated drinks unless the product is explicitly advertised as suitable for this purpose.
• Do not use for milk drinks or for warming baby food, as this poses a risk of bacterial growth.
• Do not put the product in a freezer, microwave oven, or oven.
• Do not place in a dishwasher unless explicitly permitted.
• Do not pour hot drinks or ice cubes into a container that does not have insulation.

Double-walled container tips

For containers with vacuum insulation, you can optimize performance:

• For hot drinks: Preheat the product with warm water before filling.
• For cold drinks: Cool the product with cold water before filling.
• Safety warning: To avoid burns, always pour hot contents into a cup rather than drinking directly from the bottle, unless the product is explicitly intended for direct drinking. Always exercise caution with hot liquids.

Warranty information

The product is covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, excluding wear and tear of seals and closures. The warranty covers defects in material or manufacturing, provided the product was not used improperly. A receipt of purchase is required for claims. For commercial use, the warranty period is reduced to one year.
