Technical description
The sander features a trigger switch with a locking button for continuous operation, a dust outlet port for vacuum connection, and front/rear clamps for securing abrasive sheets. The motor is rated at 135W with a no-load speed of 12,000 min-1.
Setting up the sander
Switch operation
To operate, press the trigger. For continuous operation, press the trigger and then the switch locking button. To stop, press the trigger once to release the lock.
Abrasive sheet installation
- Open the rear fixing clamp and insert one end of the abrasive paper. Close the clamp.
- Wrap the sheet around the front of the base pad.
- Open the front clamp, insert the other end of the paper, and close the clamp. Ensure the sheet is taut and covers the base pad completely.
Dust extraction
For larger jobs, it is recommended to use the dust extraction facility in conjunction with a suitable vacuum cleaner. Insert the bayonet end into the rear of the sander and twist 90 degrees to lock. A size adapter may be necessary depending on the vacuum hose diameter.
Maintenance
Regularly clean the ventilation slots with a vacuum to prevent motor overheating. Replace abrasive sheets when clogged or damaged. If the supply cord requires replacement, it must be done by the manufacturer or an authorized agent.
Troubleshooting
If the motor does not start, check the fuse or circuit breaker, and inspect the brushes. If sanding efficiency is reduced, replace the abrasive sheet. All repairs should be carried out by a qualified person.
