The Einhell Power X-Boostcharger 8A is designed for charging lithium-ion batteries from the Power-X-Change series. It features a standard charging mode and a faster Boost charging mode.

Safety instructions

  • For indoor use in dry rooms only.
  • Safety class II.
  • Can be used by children aged 8 and older, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, if supervised or instructed in safe use.
  • Do not use for non-rechargeable batteries.
  • Ensure sufficient ventilation.
  • Keep away from heat sources.
  • If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person.

  1. Check that the mains voltage matches the rating plate.
  2. Plug the charger into the socket; the green LED will flash.
  3. Insert the battery pack into the charger.
  4. Refer to the LED indicator table for charging status.

Boost charging mode

In Boost mode, the battery is charged faster than in normal high-speed mode. Press the Boost button to activate this mode; it is indicated by a blue LED. Boost mode is recommended when the battery is needed quickly. If not needed immediately, use normal mode as it is gentler on the battery.

Wall mounting

The charger can be mounted on a wall. Use the dimensions on the back of the charger to drill holes. Maintain a distance of at least 10 cm from the wall (left and right) and 100 cm from the ceiling. Use suitable screws (e.g., 3.5 mm pan-head screws) to prevent damage and falling.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always unplug the charger before cleaning. Keep the surface clean and wipe only with a dry cloth. There are no user-serviceable parts inside; do not disassemble the device.

Disposal and recycling

Dispose of the device and its components (metal, plastic) according to local regulations. Do not dispose of electric tools in household waste. Remove batteries and light sources before disposal.
