Practical help
Common problems
Ensure the instrument cable is fully inserted into the Input Jack, as this acts as the power switch when using battery power.
Remove the plug from the Input Jack when you finish playing, as the battery remains engaged while a cable is connected.
Check if the tuner is currently active (Foot Switch pressed). When the tuner is on, the Output Jack is muted for silent tuning.
Before use
- Ensure you have a 9V DC adapter (5.5 x 2.1 mm, center-negative) if not using a battery.
- Use a clean, dry cloth for maintenance.
- Verify the instrument is connected to the Input Jack.
- Check that the amplifier is connected to the Output Jack.
Specs in practice
- Center-negative polarity
- The inner pin of the power connector must be negative; using the wrong polarity can damage the device.
- Accuracy +/- 1 cent
- The tuner is precise within 1/100th of a semitone.
Model compatibility
- Requires 9V DC power supply with 5.5 x 2.1 mm barrel and center-negative polarity.
