This document provides essential information for the installation and operation of the Falcon LED pool spotlight. Key points include:
- Voltage: 12V AC/DC for single-color models; 12V AC only for RGB/RGBW models.
- Safety: Do not use electronic transformers; use industrial toroidal or square transformers.
- Installation: Must be installed at a depth of approximately 700mm.
- Control: RGB/RGBW modes are controlled via the pool light switch.
Device Description
The LED pool spotlight is designed for 1-1/2" nozzles (or 2" with an adapter). It is available in three frame diameters (110mm, 160mm, 220mm) and two thread types: short thread for concrete/glass pools and long thread for vinyl liner pools.

Installation
The light should be mounted on the pool wall at a depth of approximately 700mm from the water surface in an easily accessible area. It is compatible with concrete, stone, fiberglass, metal, and wooden walls with liners. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with IEC 364-7-702 standards.

Operation and RGB/RGBW Control
To control RGB/RGBW lamps:
- Mode Selection: Turn the light off and on within 3 seconds to cycle through the 15 or 16 pre-programmed effects.
- Memory Function: If the light is off for more than 20 seconds, it will save the last program used.
- Synchronization/Reset: To synchronize multiple lamps, turn them off for more than 20 seconds, then switch them on and off 3 times consecutively. Finally, turn them on; all lamps will reset to program 1.
Safety Warnings
- Do not use electronic transformers as they may damage the light.
- Frequent voltage fluctuations can cause permanent damage; install a protection system if necessary.
- Do not touch electrical components with wet feet.
- Defects involving 3 or fewer LEDs in lamps with 500+ LEDs are considered normal operation.
Maintenance and Replacement
The unit is maintenance-free and designed for a single lifecycle. If it fails, the entire unit must be replaced. Always ensure the power is disconnected before performing any work on the light.

Common problems
Ensure you are not using an electronic transformer. Use an industrial toroidal or square transformer instead.
Perform a reset: turn off for >20s, switch on/off 3 times, then turn on. All lamps will reset to program 1.
Install a voltage protection system on the pool's electrical circuit to prevent damage from voltage fluctuations.
Before use
- Verify the transformer type is industrial (toroidal or square), not electronic.
- Ensure the installation depth is approximately 700mm.
- Check that the thread type (short or long) matches your pool construction.
- Confirm the power supply matches the lamp requirements (12V AC/DC or 12V AC).
- Ensure the installer is qualified for pool electrical work.
Images and diagrams
- The diagrams illustrate the assembly sequence of the light fixture into various pool wall types, showing the placement of gaskets, nuts, and the light housing.
Model compatibility
- Compatible with 1-1/2 inch nozzles directly.
- Compatible with 2 inch nozzles using a special adapter.
- Not compatible with dimmers or brightness control relays.
