Installation

The hood can be installed in various configurations. Ensure all installation work is performed by qualified personnel in compliance with local regulations.

  • Wall Mounting: Use the provided fixing kit (screws and plugs) only on masonry walls. For other wall types, assess alternative fixing systems based on wall strength and hood weight.
  • Outlets: The hood supports both vertical and rear outlets. Ensure the outlet pipe has a diameter not less than the hood fitting, minimal bends, and a slight downward slope in horizontal sections to prevent condensation.
  • Safety Screws: Mandatory safety screws must be installed as shown in the assembly steps.

Operation

The hood is controlled via an electronic pushbutton panel:

  • Motor ON/OFF: Turns the motor on or off.
  • Speed Control: Increase or decrease speed from 1 to 4. Speed 4 is active for a few minutes before reverting to speed 3.
  • Light: Turns the lighting on or off.
  • Timer: Enables auto-switch-off after 15 minutes.
  • Filter Alarm: Indicates when metal anti-grease filters require maintenance (after approximately 30 hours of use). Press and hold the timer button for 3 seconds to reset the counter.

  • Cleaning: Clean external surfaces at least every 15 days using a damp cloth and neutral detergent or "Magic Steel" wipes for stainless steel. Do not use abrasive or corrosive products.
  • Metal Anti-Grease Filters: Wash at least once a month in hot water with dish soap or in a dishwasher at low temperatures (max 60°C) without detergent.
  • Active Carbon Filters: These are optional and retain odors. Replace according to the instructions provided with the filter packaging.
  • Lighting: The hood uses high-efficiency LED spotlights. If replacement is necessary, follow the steps illustrated in the manual.

Safety

Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or maintenance. Do not use the hood with wet hands or bare feet. Ensure the room is well-ventilated if other gas-powered appliances are in use simultaneously.
