The Falmec Virgola Evolution is a range hood designed for domestic use. It features four speed settings, a timer function for automatic shutdown, and LED lighting. It can be installed in various configurations, including external exhaust or internal recirculation (with optional filters).

Safety instructions
- Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local regulations.
- Do not use the hood if the power cable or other components are damaged.
- Disconnect the hood from the power supply before any cleaning or maintenance.
- Do not modify the electrical, mechanical, or functional structure of the equipment.
- Ensure the hood is not installed outdoors and is not exposed to atmospheric elements.
- If other appliances using gas or other fuels are used simultaneously, ensure the room is well-ventilated.
Installation
The hood can be installed in various configurations. Ensure the cabinet has front access available. The installation kit provided is for masonry walls; for other wall types, use appropriate fastening systems considering the wall strength and hood weight.

Electrical connection
The electrical system must be earthed and comply with local safety standards. Ensure the voltage matches the data plate inside the hood. The socket must be easily accessible after installation; otherwise, install a main switch.
Fumes discharge
For external exhaust, connect the hood outlet to an external output via a pipe. For internal recirculation, ensure active carbon filters are installed. Do not install the check valve in the recirculation version.
Operation
Switch on the hood at least one minute before cooking. After cooking, leave it on until all vapours and odours are extracted. The timer function allows for automatic shutdown after 15 minutes.
Speed settings
- 1st speed: Low energy consumption, maintains clean air.
- 2nd speed: Normal use.
- 3rd speed: Strong odours and vapours.
- 4th speed: Rapid disposal of odours and vapours.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures proper operation. Clean external surfaces at least every 15 days. Clean metal anti-grease filters at least monthly. Replace active carbon filters (KACL.960) every 3-4 months. Regenerate carbon-zeolite filters (KACL.961) every 18 months and replace every 3 years.

Disposal
This product is WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and must be disposed of separately from unsorted waste. Contact local authorities for designated collection points.
