This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of the Festool CT 15 and CT 25 mobile dust extractors. Always ensure the filter system is installed before use. Before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or changing consumables, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Device Overview
The device features a main power switch, a socket for connecting power tools, a suction power regulator, and a filter drawer. Refer to the parts diagram on page 3 for the exact location of the electrical outlet module, hose mount, and other components.

Commissioning
To prepare the unit for use:
- Insert the filter bag (see page 4).
- Connect the suction hose to the intake (see page 4).
- Connect the power cable to a mains socket.

Operation
The dust extractor can be operated in two modes:
- Automatic: The extractor starts automatically when the connected power tool is switched on.
- Manual: Press the MAN button to start the extractor manually.
Settings
You can adjust the suction power using the plus or minus buttons. The suction hose sleeve features a bypass function to prevent the hose from sticking to smooth surfaces; turn the ring to 'OPEN' to activate the bypass or 'CLOSE' to seal it.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required to ensure optimal performance:
- Filter Bag: Replace when full. Pull the tab on the filter bag to close it securely before removal.
- Filter Element: Replace the filter drawer when necessary.
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the fill level sensors and inspect them for damage.

Safety
This machine is for indoor use only. Do not extract hazardous dust, sparks, glowing particles, or chemically reactive materials. If foam or liquid escapes, switch off the machine immediately.
