Always use the specified bulbs and never exceed the maximum recommended wattage to prevent overheating and damage to the fixture.

Installation Preparation

Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and locate the parts bag. Ensure you have all necessary components before beginning. Remove the old fixture and the old mounting strap from the wall or ceiling. Identify the mounting strap (B) and find the holes that match your junction box. Attach the mounting screws (A and D) to the strap, ensuring they are securely held in place with nuts (C). Test the canopy (F) against the strap to ensure proper fit before proceeding.

Wiring and Assembly

The fixture arrives pre-assembled, simplifying the installation process. Have an assistant support the weight of the fixture while you connect the wires. Connect the fixture wires to the house supply wires: hot to hot (black, smooth, or transparent with black thread), neutral to neutral (white, ribbed, or transparent with white thread), and ground to ground (green, bare metal, or copper). Secure all connections with wire connectors, ensuring all twists are in the same direction. If no house ground wire is available, use the provided ground screw (E) on the mounting bracket.

Finishing and Maintenance

Once wired, lift the canopy (F) to the ceiling and secure it using the decorative nuts (G). Carefully place the glass shade (I) over the socket (H) and lock it in place using the socket ring (J). Install the appropriate light bulb, turn the power back on, and test the fixture. For maintenance, keep the glass shade clean and periodically check that all mounting hardware remains secure.
