Installation Guide for Golden Lighting 0314-FM10 Flush Mount Light

This document provides essential instructions for the safe installation of the Golden Lighting 0314-FM10 flush mount light. Installation must be performed by an accredited professional. Always shut off the power supply at the circuit breaker before beginning work. Ensure you use only the specified bulbs and do not exceed the maximum wattage.

Preparing for installation

Carefully remove the fixture and parts bag from the carton. Turn off the power and remove any old fixture and mounting hardware. Locate the mounting strap (B) and identify the holes that match your junction box. Attach the mounting screws (A & D) to the strap, ensuring they are properly secured with nuts (C). Test the canopy (F) against the strap to determine the correct screw depth. Secure the mounting strap (B) to the junction box using screws (D).

Connecting the wires

Have an assistant support the fixture's weight during wiring. Connect the fixture wires to the house supply wires using wire connectors, ensuring all twists are in the same direction:

• Hot: Connect to the black, smooth, or transparent wire with black inner thread.
• Neutral: Connect to the white, ribbed, or transparent wire with white inner thread.
• Ground: Connect to the green, bare metal, copper, or transparent wire with green inner thread.

If no house ground wire is present, wrap the fixture's ground wire around the ground screw (E) on the mounting bracket and tighten securely.

Finishing the installation

Align the canopy (F) with the mounting strap (B) and secure it using the decorative nuts (G). Position the decoration iron ring (I) and glass shade (K) over the socket (H), ensuring the holder (J) is snug. Secure the shade and ring using the socket ring (L). Finally, install the appropriate light bulb (not included) and restore power to test the fixture.
